we are committed to finding a use for each scrap of our custom yarn-dye woven textiles: from community initiatives, to recycling or repurposing!
statistically, in the normal cut and sew process, anywhere from 10%-30% of each meter of fabric is wasted. if we threw out fabric at this rate, we would waste thousands of meters of our custom fabrics each year.
instead, we creatively repurpose our scraps and excess yardage in products, partnerships, collaborations, community initiatives, and more!

since our brand beginnings, we have made use of our leftover textiles and scrap fabric by creating new ace&jig pieces like patched quilts, textile flags, patch kits, masks, and much more!
patch kits
we sell our textile scraps for good! a few times a year, we release kits of our leftover textile scraps to raise money for different organizations and nonprofits that share our values.
use these scraps to patch a hole or tear in a garment, reinforce a well-loved and well-worn piece, beautify a style to give it a second life, or create something new.
artisan collabs
we partner with Projecthrive, an initiative to mobilize fashion supply chains to have far-reaching social and environmental impacts.

ace&jig community closet!
we’re are committed to extending the lifespan of ace&jig clothing and diverting textile waste from landfills.
through our ace&jig Community Closet, you can now purchase or sell pre-loved ace&jig garments!
ace&jig swaps
we love to encourage the community-led practice of swapping. in the past, we’ve hosted events where ace&jig fans can swap styles they no longer wear with each other, giving the pieces a new life.

scrap upcycling
instead of using new materials, we now repurpose our scraps to create small button bags for our garments that feature buttons!
these little pouches can be reused to store jewelry, as a small coin purse, or however you see fit.
community projects
we encourage the creative reuse of ace&jig scraps by hosting craft stations at events, and engaging our fans in scrap projects like our Community Quilt.
