What is Ace & Jig?

Ace & Jig is a women's clothing brand known for handwoven, organic cotton textiles and effortlessly beautiful styles. Each Ace & Jig garment is WOVEN — not printed — from dyed yarns, and produced in India by our Fair Trade Certified partners.

Are Ace & Jig products Fair Trade Certified?

Yes! Ace & Jig products are Fair Trade Certified, which means our production meets independently verified standards for fair wages, safe working conditions, and ethical labor practices throughout the supply chain. Learn more about this certification on our Fair Trade Certified page.

What does "woven, not printed" mean?

Many fashion brands source pre-made fabrics for their lines, and most commercial fabric patterns are printed on top of plain fabric. Ace & Jig's textiles are different! Not only is each textile designed in-house by our two owners/designers, but each pattern, color, and texture you see is brought to life via interwoven warp and weft threads on large autolooms in India. This is a much more labor-intensive, traditional technique that produces unique textures and rich colors and patterns that can't be replicated by printing.

Where are Ace & Jig garments made?

Ace & Jig garments are woven, cut, and sewn in India using primarily organic cotton, by our Fair Trade Certified manufacturing partners.

What are Ace & Jig garments made of?

Our textiles are primarily made with certified organic cotton.

Is Ace & Jig sustainable?

We care deeply about the way Ace & Jig garments and textiles are made, the people who make them, and the impact they have on the earth. We prioritize sustainable, small-batch production: garments are made from primarily organic materials, in limited quantities, by our Fair Trade Certified manufacturing partners. Our aim is to ensure the safety, equitable treatment, and empowerment of those contributing to the creation of our textiles & products, while limiting our environmental footprint wherever possible.

What does "textile" mean on the Ace & Jig site?

We create a unique name for each fabric we design – these are our textiles. Each textile features multiple colors, a unique pattern, or a distinct texture, that’s why we don’t reduce the names to one “color” or “colorway”.

How do I care for my Ace & Jig?

We recommend consulting the individual product pages for care instructions specific to each style or textile. If product longevity is your priority, we will typically recommend dry cleaning, but many of our products also hold up well with machine washing (cold) and tumble drying (low).

What sizes does Ace & Jig offer?

We offer all of our clothing in sizes XXS-4X.

Do you restock sold out products?

In an effort to reduce textile waste, we produce limited quantities of each style and typically don't restock sold-out items. We recommend signing up for "Email Me When Available" notifications on the desired product page, as any returned inventory is automatically added back to the website.

Where can I buy or sell Ace & Jig resale?

You can shop or resell your pre-loved ace&jig pieces through our Community Closet, our resale portal! Buying or selling preloved garments helps extend the life of your garments and keep them out of landfills.
