Ace & Jig’s latest collaboration with B-Sides Denim, a capsule collection of repurposed, washed denim patched with tartans and stripes, all taken (in notably eco-friendly fashion) from fabric scraps left over from Ace & Jig designs.

“I guess you could call us textile junkies,” say Ace & Jig designers Cary Vaughan and Jenna Wilson. With a shared love of weatherworn antique fabrics, their tank tops, scarves, and slouchy pants are spun on ancient Indian looms and have a reassuring, artisanal heft.

We learned a lot of things on our most recent cover shoot...We also learned about a new clothing line, Ace & Jig, brought to our attention by wardrobe stylist Danielle Nachmani when she dressed cover girl Lake Bell in a covetable striped skirt from the fall collection.  

Ace + Jig Makes Clothes That Cool Kids Will Actually Want to Wear...the affordable collection of loosely cut tops, pants, and jackets for women was first picked up by Steven Alan. After years of doing one-offs for their close friends and family, Vaughan and Wilson decided to launch a children’s line this summer.

This one’s different. Completely. It’s a little less of what you’ve come to expect from a Living With Kids home tour and a lot more of what you’d expect from a love story about two friends. Because, to me, this is exactly how Cary Vaughan and Jenna Wilson’s life reads.
